Yearbook Machine’s system makes it easy to make your book, but that doesn’t mean you have to go it alone. Putting together an Editing team to help you create your yearbook will take the pressure off, and result in a better experience for everyone.
If you give your team clear roles and responsibilities, and ensure they are always keeping you up to date, then you’ll always know exactly how your book is progressing.
As well as making people Editors of the yearbook, you can assign people as Editors of individual pages. You could get sports captains to write an article about their team’s performances over the year, or get someone to pick their favourite photos from a trip or event they were a part of. As well as reducing the number of pages you have to produce, it will also increase engagement and excitement about the book.
If you have a number of people in your year with a flair for design, you could run a competition to design your yearbook’s cover. This will generate more buzz about the book, and make people feel more included in the process.
